The hurdles in the way of shifting the bus stand at Kadirabad of Darbhanga to Dilli More near NH 57 was cleared .The DM of Darbhanga has written a letter of Municipal Commissioner of Darbhanga about the migration of the bus stand free of charge.The letter also states that the maintenance and management of this new bus stand will be done by the Darbhanga Municipal Corporation.In the General Board Meeting of the corporation on Dec 22 it is expected to get a green nod.

The construction  of the modern Bus stand at Delhi More was done with a sum of three crores and thirty eight lakhs.The Bus stands construction was completed on February 9 , 2014 in just one year after its foundation.

However , it was trapped departmental  glitches and currently is not-operational since three years .Within this period the bricks were stolen by the miscreants and under lack of maintenance wild grasses have grown in the premises.

The new bus stand at Darbhanga has  12 platforms constructed spanning across 12 acres with  20 toilets , 17 street lights , 2 hand pumps , a police post and a temple constructed in its campus. Three doors have been constructed for the entrances and exits .However, there has been no arrangement for night stay for the passengers. The shifting of bus stand will not only boost the development of Delhi More area but also reduce the traffic jams of the city.

The hurdles occurred at frequent intervals when there was an effort in shifting of the bus stand.Initially the Air-Force expressed dis-satisfaction about the construction around its vicinity and then a case was filed about the ownership of land by the Queen of Darbhanga.
