Flood Water enters into the lower parts of Darbhanga Town amid continued rise

Flood water has entered  in to 22 wards of Darbhanga district . The situation is getting more frightening with administration trying to avert the other areas being sub merged.The flood water of Baghmati river and  Adhwara tributaries has engulfed the city from north and south side .

Till the time this news was written one and a half dozens Muhallas of the town were flooded . The water level is rising as well as spreading water into newer areas of the town . If the water continues to rise the flood water will spread to the tower chowk and upper reaches of the city. The administration is constantly trying to stop entry of water into the town .

Till yesterday flood water entered into Muhallas like Imlighat , Balughat, Mishriganj , Kale Khan , Kabraghat , Banglagarh near Maharaji bridge , Sshubhankarpur , Ratnopatti , Chatariya , Bazidpur , Mahdauli , Shastrinagar , Janakpuri , Abhanda , Shaktinagar , Saidnagar , Friends colony , Kharajpur , Kelwagachhi
