1432 km roads of Bihar have been included in the government-sponsored Bharatmala Yojana .
The six major roads of North Bihar are included in this plan . Some of these will be built . While other roads will be developed . Amritlal Mina , chief secretary of the road construction department gave this information after the review meeting of Nitish Kumar ,Chief Minister of Bihar .
35 thousand kilometers of road is to be constructed in the entire country in the first phase,under this scheme.
The roads of north Bihar which have been included in the scheme. Raxaul to Sonbarsa, Bairgania to Chakia, Darbhanga to Aurangabad, Patna -Hazipur-Muzaffarpur, Muzaffarpur-Begusarai-Patna Sahib , Muzaffarpur-Sahebganj , Araria-Supaul , Chhapra-Patna , Sasaram-Patna roads are included in this plan .
Amritlal Mina told that two lanes of NH will be extended to four lanes and four lane extended to eight lanes under the scheme. Some such roads have been selected under the scheme , which is not currently NH .
These will be given the status of NH and will be made of two lanes. It has been ordered to make a DPR for this . All these roads are included in the form of the Inter Corridor in the plan .
