Darbhanga turns into a lake with the first monsoon showers !

With the continued two days of rainfall the city has turned into a lake again.The rain has also affected the day to day life of the people in the city.There is a water logging in many colonies and low lying areas in the city.The medicine ward of DMCH is already facing the problems with water logging and Darbhanga Tower looks like a lake.

The other areas affected by water logging are the bylanes of Sarvoday High School , Khanka Chowk ,shops of Bakerganj,the roads of Bengalitola and Balbhadrapur.There road from CM Science gate to Town hall has converted into a water reservoir.The problem is also at the Darbhanga station where the floor is wet and slippery due to the water dripping from the shed.The passengers are facing trouble as there is no place to sit.Outside the station footpath sellers could not arrange their shops due to intermittent showers.
