Bihar Government may revive V & VIII class Board Exams


Compulsory V & VIII class Board Exams to be introduced by Bihar Government

After a joint committee recommendations the government of Bihar is all set to introduce a compulsory board exams for students in class V and VIII.The government is also said to make arrangement for supplementary classes and re-exams for un-successful students.

The new development came as a result of centers initiative that state boards also organize board level exams for class V and VIII.A senior source in HRD  said that there has been a mutual consensus between the center and the state in this regard.

The objective behind this effort is that the students will study keeping a goal in their mind and required seriousness will come in the process of study and teaching .It will have to discuss on the policy of no fail in the meeting of CABE , including this it will be considered on compulsory of Board examination in 10th class .

It was also observed in various studies that due to the ‘no-detention policy’ ,the level of study and teaching deteriorated in government schools.The seriousness of the students as well as teachers was also affected.

It is because of these reasons these reasons the government wants to limit the ‘no-detention policy’ till class V only.
