Topper list not released
The Madarsa Board has been declaring the results in front of media every year, but this time the result was declared secretly for unknown reasons. The board did not even release the topper list. The bulletin of the result was released only for formality. There is no mention of the number of students passed in Molvi exam.
Clarifying on this matter, the Board secretary said that the result has been released in a hurry because that there is a very short time for admission in Alim in Maulana Mazharul Haque Arabic and Persian University in Patna.
First Division percentage less than 5%
Even this year, the percentage of passing students with first division was below 5%. In fact, only 4.74% students passed in First Division in the examinations. Sadly, even last year this figure was 4.2%. In 2014, 14% of the examinees passed with First Division.
In 2017 the number was 53.16%. This year 48,247 students had appeared the Maulvi Examination.
