Bike borne miscreants loot Rs 5 lakh from Government employee at broad daylight in Darbhanga



In an another successive loot after snatching near MRM college , bike borne miscreants snatched Rs 6 lakh from a government employee near Safi Muslim High School under Benta OP police station.

The victim , Vinod Kumar Lal (60)  , was returning home after withdrawing the money from SBI’s Darbhanga branch. The government employee also got injured after falling from the bike when loot happened.Later on, the police got him admitted to DMCH.

Dilnawaj Ahmad , Darbhanga’s DSP ordered to scrutinize CCTV footage around the area.

The victim is a residents of West Digghi tank .He got retired three years ago from Hayaghat Block office. After his retirement , he contributed to the Baheri  Block office on contract basis.But, due to lack of allocation, he was not receiving his salaries.His salary of 28 months of six lakh rupees came to his  account on March 31.

On the date of mishap, he was returning home on his bike after withdrawing five lakhs rupees from SBI’s Darbhanga branch.Criminals followed him through bike near Muslim schools and and robbed his money.

In order to prevent the snatching Vinod fell down and miscreants managed to run away with bag.
