In the Darbhanga Medical College and Hostel’s Superintendent campus, the construction of Trauma center has started. It will be a two-story building whose the work of piling has been completed.
Consultant, Brajesh Kumar Jha, an engineer examined the ongoing work on Monday. It is being said that construction work is to be completed in nine months.
A trauma center is a hospital or department in a hospital equipped and staffed to provide care for patients suffering from major traumatic injuries such as falls, motor vehicle collisions, or gunshot wounds. The need for a Trauma Center in DMCH is being felt for a long time. The responsibility of forming a Trauma Center has been given to Alakh Ranjan Construction from BMSICL.
The goverment of Bihar plans to open trauma centers at nine places in Bihar of which the ones in Muzaffarpur, Gaya, Sasaram, Purnea, Darbhanga, and Madhepura were likely to become functional in a year.
