Darbhanga’s new bus stand will open by the end of this month

Darbhanga’s new bus stand located near Delhi-More might begin to function from this month.

The district administration has started the preparations for the introduction of newly constructed bus stand in Delhi by the end of this month.

Dr. Chandra Shekhar Singh – the current District Magistrate recently inspected the newly bus stand with his officials and he gave several guidelines to get the work done in a timely fashion.

During his visit he supervised various infrastructures of the soon-to-be functional new bus stand including Soling, toilets, drinking Water, electricity, sanitation, safety, passenger shade.

The DM also discussed with the authorities about the system of entrances and exit of the vehicles.

There is a possibility is that vehicles will enter through the western end located on the left side of Muzaffarpur-Jhanjharpur highway.

Near the south end of the Makhana Research Center will be the other gate to be used as exit door for the vehicles. The structure that is currently incomplete on the western end of the premises  and expected to be completed soon.

The administration has also asked the concerned official to prepare the estimation of the amount for the repair of the stand. 

The bus stands is ready since four years but for some unknown reasons it could not get functional so far.Now , the district administration is trying to start it as soon as possible.

The premises will be cleaned and re-opened for the buses.

‘The grasses have grown in the entire area needs to be cleaned. It also need to have a rectified soling , arrangement for drinking water facility , Electricity and some other repair works ‘ , added the DM.
