Janakpur-Ayodhya Bus service flagged off by Indian PM

Amid the atmosphere of enthusiasm in Nepal , Prime Minister of India – Narendra Modi ,  flagged off  the direct Janakpur-Ayodhya bus service.

On this occasion , all government buildings in Janakpur and the entire temple complex  were  painted in saffron color.12 Bigha Maidan was also decorated for Modi’s arrival and public meeting.

Route of Bus from Janakpur to Ayodhya

The new bus service from Janakpur to Ayodhya will start from Gorakhpur.

New bus service will start from Janakpur (Nepal) and reach Gorakhpur via Sitamadhi (Bihar) and  from there on will continue till Ayodhya .

Travelers from Janakpur to Ayodhya can take rest in Gorakhpur.

On May 11th , the bus first bus left from Janakpur of Nepal and reached Gorakhdham at night.

In this bus , a seating of 35 passengers was made.

10 officials of Nepal also travelled in the bus.Night halt age was at  Gorakhpur.The bus departed from here on 12 May and reached Ayodhya at 9 AM.

Connecting Lord Rama’s place – Ayodhya to Goddess Sita’s father’s place i.e. Janakpur is the theme and purpose of this bus service.

Janakpur Dham and Ayodhya Route is the part of the Ramayana Circuit.

It is believed that this bus service is being started to promote the Ramayana Circuit.
