Long delay in distribution of subsidized LED bulbs disappoints subscribers

The Ujala Sceme of the government of India , for the purpose of saving energy in India seems to have failed in Darbhanga district.

As you already know, under this scheme, LED bulb are given on subsidise rates by the government through distribution centres. However the stock of new bulbs has not been replenished in the district since four months.

And now when the festive seasons are around, people are facing disappointment when they come to buy or change fuse LED bulbs and find that distribution has not yet been started.

In Darbhanga town, the LED Bulb distribution takes place in the power office near Naka No 5.

At the counter, it is being said that the bulb’s distribution will begin from the next month.

The precious time of the people is getting wasted since four months in visiting the distribution centre only to find that the stock has exhausted.
