Railway completes trial run on Biraul-Harnagar rail line



Railways successfully completed the trial run on 8 KM Biraul-Harnagar rail line on Monday in Sakri-Kusheshwarsthan-Hasanpur rail project.

With this , trains are now ready operate on this rail section very soon.This station will provide an easy access to religious tourist place – Kusheshwarsthan as well.

At present trains are being operated till Biraul only but now they can run from Sakri till Harnagar.

Train with a dozen of bogies reached Harnagar station at 4.15 PM in the guidance of CRS , PK Acharya.

Witnessing the speed of the train people are speculating that the speedy trial was successful.

As soon as the officials got off the train at Hanagar , local crowd gathered for the reception and to see the train.

CRS of the railways , Acharya also inspected the newly constructed station.He gave necessary instructions to the concerned officials.

.Speaking in this regard he said that all preparations at Harnagar station is satisfactory. He also added that during the time of speedy trial the speed of the train was 100 KM per hour.

‘The report about this success send to the higher railway officials and operation of the trains will be started on getting permission’ , he said.

CRS Acharya flagged off the Speedy Trial Train during return.People at Harnagar station welcomed CO Public Consul, with PAG , Sheet and Garland.

It is not to forget that Sakri-Hasanpur Railway Project was approved in the year 1972,  by the effort of then Railway Minister, Late Lalit Narayan Mishra.

But after his death, the project was  slipped into the cold box.

Railway Minister Ram Vilas Paswan re-launched this project and in the year 2008, after the completion of the construction work from Sakri to Biraul.
