The government of Bihar under in its Budget 2018-19 has made many announcements for development of the state . One such announcement that is hailed as a positive development by the people of Mithila is the announcement about the setup of Software Technology Parks in Darbhanga.
A feasibility study has already been done to setup a software technology park in Darbhanga and a greed nod seems to have been received from Software Technology Parks of India – a society established in 1991 by the Indian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology with the objective of encouraging, promoting and boosting the export of software from India.So , A logical agreement has been received to open the branch of Software Technology Parks of India in Bhagalpur and Darbhanga. A software technology park requirement specs says it must have – 3 acres of developed land and minimum 20,000 square feet built-up space, or Rs 5 crore of grant-in-aid in lieu of the built-up space.
On the other hand the budget also announces several large institutions related to medical, science and astronomy to be opened in Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga Madhubani and Eastern Champaran districts.
Cancer Hospital in Muzaffarpur , three new Krishi Vigyan Kendra will be set up in Muzaffarpur and Eastern Champaran districts, while the Planetarium and Science museum will be established in Darbhanga.
The arrangement for the seating of 100 people will be made in the Planetarium and Rs 164.31 crores will be expended on this plan.The Auditorium will also be made here apart from the Science Museum.The arrangement for the seating of 200 people will be made in the Auditorium.
